How to Get Your Carbium API Key

To start using Carbium's APIs, you’ll need to generate an API key. Follow the steps below to create your account, choose a plan, and securely obtain your key.

🚀 Step 1: Visit the Developer Portal

Go to api.carbium.io using your preferred web browser.

🔐 Step 2: Sign Up or Log In

Click the "Get Started" button at the top-right corner of the homepage.
Choose one of the following login options:
1. Google
2. Discord
3. X (formerly Twitter)

📦 Step 3: Choose a Plan

After logging in, you'll be directed to the Plans page.
Select a plan that suits your needs. If you're unsure, the Free Plan is a great way to get started.

🧰 Step 4: Generate Your API Key

Once you're on the Dashboard, your API key may already be visible.
If not, click the "Generate Key" button to create a new one.

🔒 Step 5: Secure Your API Key

Copy the API key and store it securely.
Do not share your key publicly or expose it in frontend applications or public repositories.
If you suspect your key has been compromised, regenerate it from the dashboard immediately.
